I'm getting married (again)!

I'm getting married again! Well, actually, my husband & I are renewing our wedding vows. We didn't get to do it on our 10th anniversary, but it doesn't really matter when we do it. The ceremony will take place on July 7, 2007 at my Grandmother's house. I can't wait!!!

10 years of Wedded Bliss!

My husband & I are coming up on our 10th wedding anniversary on Feb. 15th. It's amazing how so much time can go by, so fast! I never thought that I anyone would hold my attention for this long. LOL!!! He puts up with me, so I gotta respect him for that. (Love you Honey!!) Unfortunately, the Tokyo trip is out for this year, maybe next year. We decided that our house needs a couple more rooms, due to the fact that our family is outgrowing the house. I'll take more room over a trip, this time.

Girl Scout Cookies

It's that time again!! Girl Scout cookies go on sale starting January 5th, they cost only $3.50 per box.. We have all of your longtime favorites (thin mints, tagalongs, dosidos, all abouts, trefoils, samoas, cafe cookies) & a new cookie called "Little Brownies" (sorry, Lemon Coolers are not available this year). Taking the good with the sad!

Well over the Christmas holiday I found out that my little sister is pregnant with her 2nd child. Her 1st child is a boy & he turned 1 yr. on Oct. 26th. WAY TO GO ROSIE!!! On a sadder note, my Great-Uncle Aubrey Henderson passed on Christmas Day. He was 85 yrs. old. R.I.P. Uncle Aubrey.

Parent / Child Separation

Well, after 34 yrs. of being in the same state as my parents, it's official! My parents are moving to Oklahoma after the new year. Now, this is where I start to sound like the Momma's girl that I am! I am very close to my Mom & Dad, but mostly my Mom. I am having a hard time accepting the fact that soon I won't be able to jump in the car & go to their house. When I want to go to Wal-Mart with my Mom, I won't be able to. When I need Dad to figure out why my car makes a weird sound, I won't be able to. I AM 34 yrs. old, you would think that I wouldn't be so attached to my parents! Well, that's just not the case with me. I feel that I'm being a little selfish, because part of me is happy for them & the other part wants them to stay here, with ME!!!!

Going to Tokyo

Well, my husband has decided that he wants us to go to Tokyo for our tenth anniversary. I have never been on a plane and I don't know how I would react. There is this wonderful stuff, you may have heard of it, it's called alcohol! There will be plenty of it in me before I get on the plane. Our anniversary is Feb. 15th, so it's not that far from now. I guess we'll see what happens.
